He served in the British Royal Marines, and had been a sugar planter in BARBADOS. He lived brieflly in Connecticut before settling in FLORIDA in the TOMOKA area.
He moved to ST. AUGUSTINE, and left his holdings to his son DOUGLAS DUMMETT, who cultivated oranges. Some of his groves were on MERRITT ISLAND.
I would like to know who the rest of THOMAS HENRY'S children were, and if there are any descendants still living. Thank you for any information you would be willing to share.
