[CARIBBEAN] POOLE, Samuel-Jamaica 1830's

Hi, I am new to the list, from Christchurch, New Zealand.
I am researching my children's paternal ancestor, Samuel POOLE ( 1791 -
1869 )who owned two estates circa 1830's in Jamaica - Mt Patience 235 acres
St Marys Jamaica & Mt Pleasance 2,564 acres in Clarendon, Jamaica. Samuel
came from Liverpool, England and returned to England around 1836. He was
married to an irish woman, Esther PLUNKETT and they had 9 children that I
know of: Elizabeth Hayhurst & Mary Ann ( both Bp. 1820 Childwell, LAN,
ENG), Esther B.c.1822, Eleanor & Samuel ( born 1823 & 1825 & Bpt St Mary's
Jamaica 13 Jun 1825),James Henry B. 1827 Jamaica, Lucy B.c.1829, Rose Alice
B.c.1833, Anna Maria B.c.1834. Any information on the POOLEs in St Mary's
or Clarendon, Jamaica would be most welcome...Also if anyone can suggest
how I can find out about the estates of Mt Pleasance & Mt Patience, might
records for them still exist somewhere??
