There is no Moore pedigree in Volume 2 in alphabetical order, nor is
there a George in the Index.

I googled "Martinique genealogy records" and found that some Catholic parish registers have been filmed: Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Basse-Pointe, 1662-1830, also Notre Dame, Case-Pilote, 1675-1830 and Saint-Jopeh Le Precheur, 1665-1830. The book says the originals are in the French National Archives. (It also said that the Colonial Office Papers and War Office Papers at PRO in Kew have the records of the British troops occupying Martinique 1762-3.)
I believe these would be Family History Library microfilms.
I went to familysearch.org and searched by film number and it turns up that the CIVIL records as well as the Catholic records for Case-Pilote1814-1873 of Martinique were filmed.
The book I was able to preview online is "Genealogical encyclopedia of the Colonial Americas" by Christina Schaefner. She used the traditional definition of "America," which includes the Caribbean, Latin America, Canada.
As an aside, could some of the listers say whether Google Books is available to you? I seem to recall that not all countries have access.
