South Carolina), dated Prince William Parish, Indian Land, S.C. 20 Feb
1761, now going on service againt the Indians. All my estate in Europe to
my son Lachlan and my daughter Bridget. All my estate in America to my
wife Mary and the child she carries. My said wife, James Parsons Esq., and
Francis Kinloch Esq. to be my execs. Wits: JAMES MCPHERSON JR. and ISAAC
MCPHERSON.
Deposition 6 April 1764 by Charles Ogilvie of Angel Court, Throgmorton St.,
London, merchant, that he came to England in May 1761 after many years'
residence in S.C. and knew the testator and his execs. welll: the will is
in the testator's hand. AWW 6 Feb 1765 to george Urquhart attorney for the
son Llachlan Shaw in Scotland, the other execs. having been cited but not
appearing. (PROB 11/906/74).
