I have been following the list for a few months now but have never posted.
I think your "roll call" is a great idea and I would like to toss my family
names into the mix.
I am looking for information on the following families from Barbados;
Hutchinson, Inniss, Browne, Batson, Goodman, Walton and Bertalan. Our
Hutchinson line came to Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada in the late 1800's/early
1900's - some then relocated to the USA, including New York, Chicago and
Washington State. I, unfortunately, don't know very much about the other
branches of my Barbados family tree. I am particularly interested in the
Browne line.
Hope to find some listers out there who might be connected.

I'm researching the MAGNUS family in Jamaica. A May Adeline Lecesne married
Ralph Archibald Magnus in Spanish Town, St, Catherine, on 11 February 1920.
May Adeline was the daughter of the second marriage of James Celeste Lecesne
to Adeline Selina Gordon, which took place 9 August 1891 a St. Mary's
church, Above Rocks. I have not done too much research back on the Lecesne
line, though interestingly enough, it intersects earlier with the ESCOFFERY
line which I have researched for Steve Hopwood and his cousin, David
Escoffery. I do have a couple of RC records from the Catholic Archives in
Kingston with Lecesne information, which I have not so far had a chance to
organize, but could share with you if you like.

Grosvenor (ca. 1863-1930). They were both from Barbados, and moved to
Trinidad, where all 8 of their children were born. Their firstborn,

Thanks so much for the McArthur/Earle references in BG.
Regarding the name "Sidney" in BG ... the only one of which I am aware
is contained in "Joseph Sidney McArthur," the focus of my research
there.
I don't know his parents' names yet, but I'm following up on the
marriage information you cited. Hopefully, the full record will
contain that information.
I have very little information on Joseph Sidney McArthur so far,
mostly references to his service in the BG Policy Court, and a few

Let me know if this would be of interest.
