Hi Cathy,

The burial of Richard Steele can be found on the LDS microfilms (St George
Anglican Church records). Richard Steele of Green Hill was buried 6 November
1854, aged 83 years. His last will and testament was entered into the
records 4 May 1857 and is found on LDS FHL156330. He had a large family with
a woman named Justine Burbousson. Children were Mary, Robert, Richard,
George, Ann, Sarah, William, Agnes Louise, Henry, Emily, Thomas, and James.

Hope this helps.

I am interested in the descendents of the son named Richard Steele. He
married Eliza LaMotte. Children were Theresa Steele, Louisa Naomi Steele
(married Charles Taylor Bell), William De Casta Steele, Samuel Gabriel
Steele, Peter Ringwood Steele, and George Inkerman Langdon Gay Steele.

Any bits appreciated,

Thanks

Daphne

Hi Cathy,
Do you have access to the LDS films for Grenada, in particular for births
around 1845?
I am still searching for details of my wife's grandfather who we think was
born in Gouyave (at least that is where he spent most of his life) in 1845,
according to his obituary, but we have no more than that. I have tried
looking for the right film without success.
I do hope you may be able to help us.
Alan and Maureen.
London, England.

STEELE INQUIRY

Looking for family information for Steeles in Grenada and Trinidad. My father was Frank Richard Steele, son of Sydney Richard, who ...APPARENTLY...was son of George Inkerman Langdon Gay Steele.

Can anyone help me verify.

I know there were aunts and uncles: Osmond, Castilda, Uldine. I met a number of them and their children in the 60s and 70s in the United States. There was Errol Lee, Henry Hosang(?), Courtney Michael Steele, Jeffrey Lee, Sandra Lee.

I have seen connections on ancestry.com, but am trying to definitively put the tree together. Richard Steele appears to be the father to G.I.L.G. Steele. Any and all assistance/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Gary Steele

Good Evening,

I have been searching and putting together my family tree. My great grandmother was Castilda Steele and I knew my great uncles and great aunts.. Castilla was my father's grandmother. His mom Evelyn died when he was young so he knew his family well. My family is from Trinidad.

Feel free to email me at bitterh...@yahoo.com.

Hi folks, I am currently trying to piece together my family tree and it does appear that we all have a lot in common. I am originally from Trinidad, living in the US, but my dad was born in Trinidad, his dad was born in Grenada, migrated to Trinidad, his dad's name is Miles Steele. Will keep an eye out for responses.
