Olof Nilsson

I'm looking for his descendants. should someone
know of these, so much the better. However I believe it's
more likely that someone can help me find them.
Therefore I'm looking for information on where and how to
find information about descendants to these relatives that
once emigrated to USA.
Perhaps someone can help me with addresses to places such
as city records, parish records, land-owner records,
authorities, companies, hospital, undertaker records,
cemetary records, genealogy associations, swedish or
scandinavian clubs and so on. I.e. anyone who
could shed light on who and where the descendants are.

OLOF NILSSON, born 11 dec 1824, is the first one I'm looking for.
He was married to Lovisa Svensdotter, born 24 june 1829.
They had four children.
Olof Gustaf b. 5 july 1859, Augusta b. 14 jan 1862
Christina b. 8 feb 1866, Carl Johan b. 5 jan 1869
They emigrated to USA 1869. One of the children is said to
have died during the journey.
They probably bought 80 acres of land in Moline, Illinois.
Olof worked at a railway construction. He died in an
accident 1870, possibly during the last quarter of this
year. Lovisa died in childbirth also 1870, possibly the same
quarter.
The children appears to have been taken care of by a mason
called Hjalm (with two dots over a).
