My group of family researchers have hit the proverbial brick wall when it
comes to finding the parents of William Thomas Speight. He was born in
Greene County, NC on Dec 29, 1813. He married Frances Fields, daughter of
John Fields and Martha Speight. She was born on March 18, 1809.
Sometime prior to 1835 William Thomas migrated, (along with two brothers,
possibly), to Henry County, TN. There, he and Frances had 8 children.
William Thomas died Sept 02, 1899. Does anyone have info on William
Thomas Speights' parents?? Any help would be appreciated...
