I am especially interested in the WEED family of MA and CT, descendants
of Jonas WEED who was in Watertown, MA in 1630. I would like to exchange
information with others who are researching this family. Below is the
direct lineage from Jonas WEED to Sarah Lany WEED, my great-grandmother.

Jonas WEED born ca. 1605, Stanwick, Northhampton, England, married 1637, in
Wethersfield, Hartford, CT, Mary (.....), died 10 Mar 1689, Stamford,
Fairfield, CT. Jonas died 7-Nov-1676, Stamford, Fairfield, CT, emigrated:
1630, on the ship, The Arbella.
Second Generation
John WEED born ca. 1643, Stamford, Fairfield, CT, married (1) by 1665, in
Wethersfield, Hartford, CT, Joanna WESTCOTT, born ca. 1645, (daughter of
Richard WESTCOTT and Joanna (.....)) died by 1678, married (2) Mary
STRICKLAND, died 31-Mar-1714. John died 1688, Stamford, Fairfield, CT.

John WEED born ca. 1673, Stamford, Fairfield, CT, married 17-Dec-1702, in
Derby, New Haven, CT, Mary Jackson BEAMAN, born ca. 1681, Derby, New Haven,
