I am looking for any information on a John DeForest b. 1821 d. 1873 m. 2nd 1850
at Whitmore Lake, Mi. below is a brief outline of his generation and his
children.
I would really appreciate any help as I am stuck on John.

Generation No. 1
1. JOHN1 DEFOREST1,2 was born 1821 in Canada3,4, and died December 26, 1873 in
Cohoclah, Mi.. He married (1) PHOBE R. JONES. He married (2) JULIA ANN
Smith5,6 January 16, 1850 in Whitmore Lake, Michigan. She was born August 15,
1831 in New York7,8.
Notes for JOHN DEFOREST:
All dates were taken from the 1860 census and figured out from there.
They were all living on farm in Handy (town) Livingston County of Michigan
I had a Phoebe R. Jones as a wife but cannot find any record of this. I think
she may be the first wife who died in 1848. She is listed as a wife in the 1860
census as Phoebe A. but Julia Ann was the wife at this time and in the 1850
census also.

daughter of JAMES FEWLESS and LUELLA. She was born February 1861 in
Michigan35,36, and died 192337,38.
