MCINTOSH; Independence,MO,USA; 1920

We are planning a reunion in 2 years in Quebec, Canada and I am trying to
locate descendents of our family that were living in Independence, Missouri
around 1920.
Alexander McIntosh and wife Catherine "Kate" MacRae moved there from
Michigan around 1900. They show in the census for 1910 and family members in
Michigan remember letters to their parents from the family around 1920. But
nothing is known after that.
Wonder if anyone in that area might be willing to look in to city
directories to see if anyone shows up down to today?
Any help or leads appreciated.
