HARTWIG / SUCKOW / BRANDT / BLANK Louisa; POM,PRU,DEU > Cleveland, OH,USA; b. 1837

Searching for information on my gr-gr-grandmother, Louisa, maiden name
HARTWIG (or it may have been SUCKOW, relatives disagree), born in Pommern, 3
Nov 1837, d in Cleveland, OH, 22 Jun 1918. She m(1) in Germany, Charles
BRANDT, who d bef. 1865. She m(2), also in Germany, Christian BLANK, and
they emigrated to the US in 1873. Children were August C., lived in
Cleveland, OH, son of Louisa's first husband, but used the surname BLANK;
Mary Louise b 7 Jul 1865; Emilie, m. ZORNOW; and Augusta, m BRAUER.
"SUCKOW" is the name of a town in Vorpommern, and that could account for the
confusion as to her maiden name. To further complicate matters, Emilie and
Augusta are identified as HARTWIG in the family album.

I would be glad to hear from anyone with knowledge of this family, or advice
as to how to obtain more information on them.
