Does this Patterson family sound like it might be related to yours?
Neil Patterson b c1811 in Scotland, sp Nancy(Agnes? Ann?) surname unknown b
c1815 in Scotland.(I dont know if Nancy came to Canada with Neil or he met
her here). He applied for land in Canada in 1833 and got his land in 1834,
in Mariposa Township, Victoria County, Canada. As far as is known, he
lived there until he died in 1901.
A Donald Patterson lived next to Neil, relationship unknown (brother?
cousin?).
Neil and Nancy's known children: Lauchlin b1842, John b1845, Flora b1846,
Mary 1848, Christina b1850, Angus (Andrew?) b1852 and Donald b1854
Questions:
Where did Neil and Nancy come from in Scotland? When did they come to
Canada?
What was Nancy's(Ann? Agnes?)surname? b date? Where did they get married?

Ann b1866, Christena Barbara(Tena) b1869, John Albert(Jack) b1873, William

Almina Maud(Maud) b1883, Lonson Wellington Gore b1885, Louis(Lewis?)
Orlando b1889 and Eurena Agnes(Rene) b?? All of these children born in
Canada.
**Mary Ann married James Taylor and had 4 children: Florence, Mildred,
Christena Jane(Jean) and Edna.
**John Albert(Jack) married Jane Ann McNamee(Annie) and had 5 children:
Lonson Wallace b1899, Flora Evelyn
b1901, Hazel Muriel b1903, Kenneth Murray b1905 and Norman Douglas b1907.
**Almina Maud(Maud) married William Bailey and had 3 children: Clifford,
Alan and Irene.
**Lonson Wellington Gore married Catharine Rebecca(Rebecca) and had 2
children: Evelyn Ann(Pat) b1901 in North Dakota, USA and Elsie Almina b1915
in Daysland, Alberta, Canada.
William Angus married ?? ...farmed somewhere in western Canada.
Christena Barbara(Tena) married (??) James and had 2 children: Wallace and
Leila.
Florence Jane(Flo) married (??) Scrutton and had 3 children: Clara, Murray
and Wilfred.
Neil Alphonso(Fon) married Christina (??) and had 4 children: Neil, Mary,
Douglas and ??
Louis(Lewis) Orlando married Annie Binns, no known children.
Eurena Agnes(Rene) married Joseph Cooper and had 2 children: Lauchlin and
George.
Those with ** I'm in contact with....the others I'm still looking for.
Question:
Where are the other children of Lauchlin & Jane?
