My grandparents finally discovered their baptism records which show, on my
grandfather's side - in New Philadelphia, PA...
Parents: William VAITKUNAS (1874-1954) and Mary RAZIUTE (1883-1959)
and on my grandmother's - in Mahanoy City, PA...
Parents: Boleslaw WIDZICKI and Michaline WOJTKIEWICZ

The first set of godparents are Stanley CZEKOUSKAS and Elizabeth
KOUST??TAVAGE (the ?? being either on, an, ou, or au <grin>)
and the sencond set: John WIDZICKI (bro. of Boleslaw?) and Anna WYSOCKA

My big question is this: what kind of name is "Raziute?" Is it
Lithuanian? I just did a full internet search and couldn't find a Raziute
as a word, place, name, or anything! I know that Mary went by the last
name of "ROGERS" not Raziute. Any clues? Also, if anyone has any of
those other surnames, I'm desperate for anything that could lead me in the
right direction.
More possibly important info:
Mary Raziute/Rogers had a sister named Ella (ellie?), who married Joseph
BENDRICK. It may be that Ella died in 1957 and Joseph in 1915. She also
had a brother named Thomas, who had a daughter Constance Rogers. I'm also
especially interested in the WYSOCKA's, since they adopted Michaline
WOJTKIEWICZ and might have been related to her. I haven't yet figured
out how the ending of the WYSOCK_ surnames work. I know it has to do with
gender, whether it's WYSOCKI or WYSOCKA, but I don't know exactly how it
works.
Thanks...

Phonologically, Raziute is not Slavic. Possibly Lithuanian or Latvian?
