Hello !
My name is Luc Bawin. I live in Verviers, Belgium. I am looking for a Mr.
Joe W. Strother, who used to live in the beginning of the 90's in Ruston,
Louisiana, USA. His wife's name is Earlene. He was a professor at Louisiana
Tech University, in Ruston, in the department of Art and Architecture. If I'
m correct, he retired in 1995 or 96. His wife Earlene was a teacher for
gifted students at Simsboro Elementary School and other schools in the
Ruston area. I had the chance to know those two wonderfully nice people when
I was a French teacher in Louisiana, during the 94-95 school year. For
years, I did not have access to the internet and could not locate them. I
knew that they had moved to Georgia, certainly in 1996.
Recently, I tried to locate them through the web in Georgia, but could not
find them. The only address I now have about them is in Oakdale, Louisiana.
I would be very happy if someone could tell me if "the" Joe and Earlene
Strother couple located in Oakdale is the one I'm looking for. If this is
the case, I would be more than glad to get in touch with them.

Bon jour.
I suggest you go to the La-Tech site, and leave e-mail for the
chairman of the Art & architecture dept. Or try their alumni
site ... often alumni offices are quite helpful in tracking down
former professors.

I don't know when this was written, but Earlene is still living in Clayton GA. Joe Strother passed away in late 2026.
