I don't know that everyone is aware that we lost Dick Pence the last
week of November.

Eastman's On-line Genealogy newsletter has details, an eulogy, and
funeral information.

Computer Genealogy lost a pioneer, Conferences lost an always
entertaining dinner speaker, and we lost a friend.

I presumed something had happened to him. I knew he was a favorite
of yours.

He was an excellent reference. After he appeared on some of these
news groups years ago I called him several times to pick his brains.
