C.P. Addition: Marriage date of Elizabeth Mowbray, Duchess of Norfolk, & Sir Gerard Usflete

The well known medieval figure, Elizabeth Arundel, Duchess of Norfolk
(died 1425), had four marriages in all:
1. William de Montagu, Knt., styled Lord Montagu, killed 6 Aug. 1382.
2. Thomas Mowbray, K.G., Duke of Norfolk, Lord Mowbray and Segrave,
died at Venice, Italy 22 Sept. 1399.
3. Robert Goushill, Knt., slain at the Battle of Shrewsbury 21 July
1403.
4. Gerard Usflete, Knt., who left a will dated 13 Sept. 1420, proved
12 Feb. 1420/1.
Regarding the fourth and final marriage of Duchess Elizabeth, Complete
Peerage, 9 (1936): 604 (sub Norfolk) states the following:
"She married, 4thly, before 3 July 1414, Sir Gerard Usflete, and [she]
died 8 July 1425." END OF QUOTE.
The source cited for Elizabeth and Gerard's marriage date is Cal. of
Patent Rolls, 1413-1416, pg. 209.
In the corrections edition of Complete Peerage, 14 (1998): 503 (sub
Norfolk), it is noted that Gerard Usflete and Elizabeth Arundel were
married by 18 April 1411, citing Dodworth MS., vol.90, f. 150, in the
Bodleian Library.
It would appear, however, that Elizabeth Arundel and Gerard Usflete
were married as early as 1408, as in that year they presented to the
church of Forncett, Norfolk - see Blomefield, Essay towards a Top.

Likewise, in 1409, Gerard and his wife, Elizabeth, similarly presented
to the church of Thorpe-next-Haddiscoe, Norfolk - see Blomefield,
