The History of Parliament website has:

Sir David ROUCLIFFE(d.1406), son and heir of Sir Richard Roucliffe (c.1321-1393) of Pickering by Elizabeth, daughter of Sir Adam Everingham of Laxton.

Sir William ELMHAM (c.1336-1403) married, secondly, before February 1382, Elizabeth (d.1419/20), daughter of Sir Hugh Hastings (d.1369) of Elsing, Norfolk by his wife Margaret (?Everingham)

Please can anyone tell me the relationship, if any, between Elizabeth Everingham, wife of Roucliffe, and Elizabeth Hastings, wife of Elmham.

Dear Robert,

Elizabeth de Everingham (wife of Sir Richard de Roucliffe) and
Margaret (wife of Sir Hugh de Hastings) were sisters, daughters of Sir
Adam de Everingham of Laxton, Notts. and his wife Joan D'eiville.

Among other references, see De Controversia in Curia Militari
inter Ricardum le Scrope et Robertum Grosvenor, pp. 350-1 (re:
Roucliffe); The Visitation of Yorkshire (Harleian vol. 16), pp.
154-156 (pedigree of Hastynges); and Complete Peerage vol. VI, p. 360.

Cheers,

John
