It seems that Kris has provable colonial English ancestry, but I'm not getting a hit on Leo's site for this

Has this been discussed? Are there issues with it?

It's not medieval. That's one issue.

To clarify I mean Colonial Americans who can be traced back to England, and back into the medieval period, at least the end of it.

At least his Swedish half, published in the book "24 Famous Swedish
Americans and their Ancestors", has been traced back to people from
the end of the medieval period,
i.e. farmers (I have myself traced other parts of his Swedish
ancestry).
