Dear all,
Christian Settipani likes to research and write books but doesn't really get interested in what follows, so I am playing the messenger for him after having helped in the editing of the manuscript alongwith Jean-François Vannier and Thierry Stasser.
After long years of waiting (for us) and long years of research (for him) Christian Settipani is offering us a splendid Christmas gift: a new version, entirely revised and corrected, of his flagship book "Les ancêtres de Charlemagne" published initially in 1989.
As in the first edition, and this time in 350 pages, Christian Settipani reviews all the established facts and hypothesis on the ancestry of the "father of all Europeans".
>From the genealogists descending from Charlemagne to the ones who would love it, and from the beginners in historical research to the experimented scholars, everyone will find something to satisfy his or her expectations!
You will find in a few days all relevant information on how to buy the book on the editor's website
http://www.coelweb.co.uk/prosopographica-et-genealogica.html (look for the last volume)

Christian has also launched a personal website:
http://settipanichristian.com/index.htm
Here, you will find all the information regarding his past, present and future work. There are still minor things to correct but nothing major.
Thank you for spreading the news among your interested friends!
regards
antoine barbry

Joe Cook, THANK YOU for the updated ahnentafel.

Most of the preceding generations are in blue; thirty or so are in red. Are
the red entries additions and/or corrections? Thanks. Dolly in Maryland USA

The red entries are corrections to the 2014 first printing, yes.
