Thanks for the line to Prince Charles. Such a rare and welcome pleasure
to have an actual sharing of medieval genealogy.

Peter Dutton, Esq., of Hatton, Cheshire.> I have a Peter Dutton of Hatton, Sr.,
(m. Elizabeth dtr of Robert Grosvenor of Hulme) and a Peter Dutton of Hatton,
Jr. (m. Elizabeth dtr of Sir Robert Foulshurst of Crewe)
Thanks in advance,

I'm seeking information on Sir Randall Brereton, of Malpas, Cheshire,
chamberlain of Chester, knight of the body to King Henry VII, who died
in 1530. Ormerod says he married Eleanor, daughter of Peter Dutton,
Esq., of Hatton, Cheshire. But I found a record dated in the 1530's
in which Isabel, widow of Sir Randall, is mentioned. Was Sir Randall
married twice or is this another Sir Randall?
