The Brereton of malpas and Shockley, living 1412, is supposed to be
related by marriage to the Corbets of Moreton. Does anyone happen to
know this connection.

Thanks muchly for any assistance.

Dear Kay,

The following shows the descent from Corbet of Moreton Corbet, co. Salop.
to Brereton of Malpas.

This information is largely due to the courtesy and collegiality of
Robert O'Connor, as will be evident from the notes.

Good luck, and good hunting.

Hello,

Coming back to this old posting, I have been trying to follow the line from Corbet to Brereton.

Has anybody found any information on the wife of sir Thomas Corbet, and mother of Elizabeth Corbet, who married sir John de Ipstones?

There is a wikipedia article about these Corbets, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Corbet_(died_1395), and it only provides her name as Elizabeth.

Further up in the same family, a previous Thomas Corbet, died in 1310, is shown with a wife name Amicia, but with no details about her. Has she been identified?
