Does anyone in the group know if there is a connection between the two
Bulmer family groups listed below?
Ansketil de Bulmer
/
Bertram de Bulmer, lord of Brancepeth, Durham, married Emma Fossard, daughter
of Robert Fossard
/
Emma de Bulmer, (d. 1208), widow of Geoffrey de Valoignes, married in 1176,
Geoffrey Neville, (d. 1193).
Emma had brothers Ansketil who died young, and William who appears to have
died without issue.
Is the following Bulmer family connected to Ansketil de Bulmer, and if
so how?
Sir John de Bulmer, of Bulmer and Wilton in Cleveland, Yorkshire, married
Tiphanie Morwick/Morewike, (d. before 28 Aug. 1315), second daughter of Hugh
Morwick of Morwick, and Wadsworth, Northumberland and Agnes Herford. John de
Bulmer and Tiphanie Morwick had the following daughters:
Eve Bulmer, (d. before 1337), married Sir Henry fitz Hugh.
Albreda Bulmer, married John Constable, (d. 1349).
Any help would you greatly appreciated.
