I understand that Isabel d'Aubigny (c 1235-1301) and Sir Robert de Ros of
Helmsley (1223-1285) had several children.

If one of those children was Robert, I would appreciate learning who he may
have married, and the names of any children (including birth and death
dates, with any other helpful identifying information, etc.).

The Isabel referred to above was the daughter of William d'Aubigny (c.
1185-1242), Lord of Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire.

Hello Allen,

Sorry, no Robert in the immediate family you're looking
for. However, as there are many Roberts in the de Ros
family, I am including below 5 generations from Sir Robert
de Ros and Isabel (natural daughter of William the Lion,
king of Scots) which covers Sir Robert de Ros and his wife
Isabel D'Aubigny, his children, siblings and near cousins.

Hopefully, you'll find de Ros you're looking for....

Good luck, and good hunting.

John *

Small point Allen, William lost his lordship of Belvoir on Christmas
day 1215 when the Crown took possesion of Belvoir.King John then
handed it over to Geoffrey and Olliver de Buteville and they became
it's Governors (Christmas present),in 1247 when it was handed over to
the De Ros family as part of the Albini family marriage settlement.
King Johns feet and hand cutting excercise at Rochester castle had a
salient effect.

All the best
