Is the William Strother that settled in Va considered a verified gateway ancestor? I have seen references to him being one but no documented proof.

Mr. Ferrill,

In addition to your question about William Strother I found a previous post of yours asking about a possible royal descent for Anthony Savage of Virginia. I'd be glad to send you suggested lines of descent for William Strother and Anthony Savage from the most recent edition of Gary Boyd Roberts' RD600 available on ancesty.com which includes sources and his comments.

It would be greatly appreciated. I also have William Thornton the immigrant as an ancestor who was also connected to the Savage/Strother lines but Im not sure if there is any medieval genealogy available for him.
