Hi,

I am wondering if anyone in the _US_ has any suggestions for available
materials on medieval Hainault genealogy.

I found this page:

http://home.tiscali.be/heraldus/Liste.html

Which seemingly has some _wonderful_ sources, but... my university's
interlibrary loan has been unable to find any of the ones on that list
that I have so far attempted to locate.

I'm trying to understand the Fall of the House of Roeulx.

Kindest thanks for any suggestions,

Judy

You are aware _a_ Roeulx family is recorded in ES? It can supply
genealogical details and a fair number of these are on my website.
Let me know if I can help.

Hi Katheryn,

here is a source where they talk a little about the Roeulx family, but
don't know if they explain in details the fall of this house.
The book is in French: "Les Seigneurs de Trazegnies au Moyen Age.
1100-1550" by J. Plumet, Buvrinnes, 1959.

I borrowed it two months ago, but didn't had the time to photocopy
it... unfortunately...

Best regards,

Frederic
