Ancestry of Pierre de Caumont (reposted)

Since responses to my previous post took a detour, I am reposting my
original question. I would appreciate any suggestions.

I am looking for information about the wife, parents, and ancestors of
Pierre de Caumont, who was rector of St. Peter Church in Jersey in the
late 1500s.

I do not know who Pierre's wife was; but his daughter, Sara de Caumont,
married Nicolas Effard in St. Saviour Parish, Isle of Jersey, on July
21, 1587.

Before emigrating to Jersey, Pierre was rector of St. Marie du Mont in
Basse-Normandie, France. He fled to Jersey with other refugees of St.
Bartholomew's Day in September 1568 [sic].

I have read that he was a member of the noble Huguenot family of that
name of Chateau de Caumont in the Dordogne, but I do not know any more
about his forebears. Can anyone help?
