The second wife of Henry Valentine Stafford-Jerningham, 3rd Baron Stafford, was Emma Eliza Gerard. She was born 17 November 1841 at Aspull House, Lancashire, and died 11 November 1912 at Springfield House, Broadway, Worcestershire. She married the Baron Stafford on 13 September 1859 at St Oswald Roman Catholic Church, Ashton, Lancashire. She was two months shy of her 19th birthday, and the baron was age 57, almost forty years her senior and ten years older than her own father. Not surprisingly, they had no children. After the baron's death, Lady Stafford married in 1887 at the age of 45, Basil Thomas Fitzherbert, the widower of her late husband's niece, who was only five years her senior.

Leo has Emma, Lady Stafford in his database, with no dates or ancestry for her parents, here:
http://www.genealogics.org/getperson.php?personID=I00318192&tree=LEO

Frederic Sewallis Gerard of Aspull House was born 23 December 1811 at Windle Hall, Lancashire, and died 7 May 1884 at Sea Side Hotel, Hastings, Sussex. He married 1st, 2 September 1835 at Leyland, Lancashire, Mary Ann Wilkinson (born 1812 at Bramcote, Nottinghamshire; died 28 March 1883 at Aspull House, Lancashire). He married 2ndly (registered in Islington district April 1884, one month before his death), Mary Dawson/Doody - this brief second marriage is overlooked by all of the peerage works, but is indexed in the Free BMD Index, England & Wales, 1837-1915.

Lady Stafford's maternal grandparents were Rev. Thomas Wilkinson of Bramcote, Nottinghamshire (born about 1765, died 8 July 1841, buried St Luke Church, Bramcote) married 17 January 1811 at St James Piccadilly, London, Ann Crook (born about 1782, died 1847 at Bramcote). After serving as curate of Bramcote for 45 years, Rev. Wilkinson was relieved of his curacy in 1835, for what he came to believe "was possibly due to the general rising intolerance toward families of mixed religion. His wife of 25 years had been a Catholic since before their marriage and he had agreed that the children should be brought up in that religion. It would seem that the arrival of a new vicar was an opportune time to rid the parish of an unorthodox, maybe slightly eccentric, but well-meaning elderly curate":

That an Anglican clergyman was allowing his children to be raised Catholic seems progressive, even today, let alone in the 1830s. I've not been able to trace the ancestry of either Rev. Wilkinson or his Catholic wife, but religion no doubt played a large role in their eldest daughter Mary Ann Wilkinson making a very advantageous marriage into an influential, long-standing Catholic Lancashire landed gentry family, the Gerards of Bryn. Frederic Sewallis Gerard, a grandson of the 9th Gerard Baronet, lived with Rev. Wilkinson and his wife in Bramcote for the first few years following his marriage to their daughter.

*I'm one of those who feel there is not enough evidence to support Joan Stradling, the 1st wife of Maurice Dennys of Siston, being a daughter of Jane Beaufort, daughter of Cardinal Henry Beaufort. But for those who feel that connection is valid, then Elizabeth Lygon would be a descendant of Edward III thru Cardinal Beaufort.

*Margaret was the daughter of John Kempson of Henley-in-Arden (1672-1738). It appears that neither of her paternal grandparents, Simon Kempson of Henley-in-Arden (1643-1719) & Margaret Betham (d. 1699) descend from Edward III, or even Edward I. But I've not yet been able to identify Margaret's mother, the wife of John Kempson, so she may yet have those monarchs in her ancestry.

**Most genealogies identify the father of Hester Bird as one Christopher Bird of London. But the marriage settlement of Edward Ferrers & Hester Bird (preserved in the Shakespeare Centre Library and Archive) states "Settlement on the marriage of Edward Ferrers of Baddesley Clinton, esq., to Hester Bird, daughter of Edward Chapman Bird of London, merchant, being a conveyance...":
http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/a2a/records.aspx?cat=188-dr422&cid=10#10
Edward Chapman Bird (1715-1792) was the son of the sculptor Francis Bird (1667-1731), who has a bio in ODNB, and his wife Hester Chapman. The wife of Edward Chapman Bird remains unidentified:
