EUROPEAN ROYAL AND NOBLE GENEALOGY IN FULL DETAIL - An essential for
genealogical researchers.
THE ROYAL HOUSES OF EUROPE
This series of books, published in England, provide a full royal
genealogy laid out in inter-connecting royal family trees of the Royal
Houses of Europe. They cover the reigning monarchies of Europe, the
great Imperial Dynasties and the former monarchies of Europe. They
include the British Royal House, now the House of Windsor, descended
from Queen Victoria, and the British dynasties of Hanover and
Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. The dynasties of Hohenzollern, Romanov, Habsburg,
Bonaparte and Bourbon have separate books on each, together with the
Monarchies of Scandinavia, the Benelux, Iberia, Italy and the Balkans.
In all cases the full descent is shown, extending to noble and
commoner families, including in the U.S.A.
They are essential tools for Genealogists, particularly in researching
their European ancestry.
The recent strengthening of the U.S. Dollar against the British Pound
means that the books in the following series can be purchased for up

apparently, nothing to do with medieval genealogy.
by the way, the series seems to advertise itself as
"They are essential tools for Genealogists, particularly in researching
their European ancestry."
however, whomever (such as, its publisher Patricia ARNOLD) has authored that advertisement piece,
it does not take into account the fact that overwhelmingly largest royal ancestry of commoners come from medieval centuries, which this series does not present at all.
a medieval genealogical directory would be essential tool for genealogists, to research their european ancestry.
Whereas actually it's very rare that genealogists have any ancestry worth mention in royal houses of the centuries dealt with in this advertised series.
Plus, such genealogists who have ancestry in THESE, would usually know it, and besides, such ancestries are usually easily accesible all around, in libraries, in internet, etc.
So, all in all, I suspect that this series cannot be *essential* tools for almost any genealogist who is researching his european ancestry - or european ancestry of almost any customer of any genealogist. Usually, the same material is available elsewhere, and quite possibly even esier.
These dynasties' genealogies of the centuries in question (1600s-the present) are generally so well known and available generally so easily that compilation of these cannot be a great feat.
