One daughter married the duke of Brittany (widower of Edward
>>III's daughter) but died childless. The other daughter married the count
of
>>Luxembourg-St Pol, but her only daughter died without issue. (See Lane's
>>_Royal Daughters of England_.)

Dear William,
We will have to extend the bottom line and, really, there isn't
one----Jeanne de Luxembourg had two sons, Jan IV, Duke of Brabant married
and divorced no children. However, his brother, Philip, also Duke of
Brabant, did it the other way around, did not marry but had 3, possibly 5
children.

Of Philip's children :
1.Antoine was in service of Philippe the Good, Duke of Burgundy. In 1452
took part in the battle of Rupelmonde, became Lord of Cruybeke, and died at
Hemixem in 1498. No mention of a wife and children.

2.Philippe, also in service of Philippe the Good and was at the battle of
Rupelmonde, obtained several properties and married 12 June 1463 in Brugge,
Anna de Baenst, parents recorded. However they have no children recorded.

3.Isabelle, she married Philippe de la Vieville, Governor of Artois, knight
of the Golden Fleece, chamberlain of Philippe the Good. She had one son :
Philippe de la Vieville, Seigneur de Mamez etc. died 1526
married 28 September 1498 Michele d'Auxy de Moncheaux,
dame de Villers-sire-Simon
two sons both married and have children
Through one line we finish up even with King Albert II of
Belgium, and many others.

?4.Jean, he had an illegitimate son

?5.Willem

And so it seems one of Joan's daughters descendants may not be extinct.

How about someone with the information on Joan of Kent posting a complete
listing of all of Joan's marriages and children for a few generations. Thanks
in advance.
