Dear Leo and Henry, dear all,
Thank you for your valuable contributions. Both Leo's comments, and Henry's suggestion to check Roglo website have helped to clarify (or not) the case.
It seems that the link between the van Dixmude of Ieper and the van Beveren is less clear than what it looked initially.
I descend from Denis van Dixmude, knight and treasurer of the city of Ieper (born around 1320 and +20/06/1379), he is given by the printed sources I mentioned in my first email as son of Jacques van Dixmude and Marie de Montigny-d'Ostrevant, grand son of Jean van Dixmude, sir of Dixmude and N.. d'Escornaix, and great-grand son of Henri van Beveren alias van Dixmude and Anne d'Antoing, Henri being the son of Thierry IV van Beveren and Marguerite de Brienne.
But as Leo rightly pointed out, Warlop mentions this Henri only as a cleric and canon of St Donatian in Bruges, without any known wife or children.
To sort out the issue, I have contacted Thierry Stasser, author of an article published in 1991 and entitled "tableau d'ascendance d'Isabelle de Rumigny" that partly examines this family van Beveren.
Waiting for his answer and until somebody can advise me on other sources of information on this family, I will carefully cut the link to Thierry van Beveren-Waas and Marguerite de Brienne...

Hello Antoine,
Have you checked the Roglo website, most
of it is of dubious value, but occasionally it can be useful.
You won't find that family indexed under van Beveren but under the
If you have Warlop, you may find this information in the Annex :)
Hope this helps,
Cheers,
