Is it actually possible on Gen-Med to put a person on moderation?
I know that won't affect the ability to post to Google Groups, but my
question is, is it even possible to do at Gen-Med ?

This is what I think's going on, Will--you see me as a pigeon, and you
think there might be some money in it. I think you have dollar signs
in front of your eyes. So you'd like to keep me on the hook, to see
if you can get some of it. Money, that is. I hate to disappoint you--
you'll never get a cent.

Believe me; if I was going to hire anyone, it wouldn't be a hustler
like you. And I don't need to hire anyone.

From: binky <bin...@gmail.com>

One time I was driving to a client site and there were some pidgeons in the road
eating something, I have no idea what. When I spied them I was probably doing
about 60 miles per hour and they were only about 20 feet away, no way to stop
of course. Most of them got away, but one particularly plump one...just couldn't.

I heard a thump, and saw behind my car a cloud of feathers. It was very sad.

But as to you as a client, I fortunately have the ability to choose my clients
just as they choose me. I can sense certain attitudes pretty well, and I reject
a number of clients. The worst ones are the ones who already know everything
before they consult me. A person simply cannot work with that mind set.

I believe it is possible. But, as per my recent post, we are
encouraging people to do filtering at the receiving end.

Folks, someone can be moderated or banned from a rootsweb list, but not from
usenet. This list is crossed with a usenet list. The juvenility has gone
on forever, and will go on forever.

Most of us just roll our eyes and delete it. And if you post a question or
information you'd better have steel armor.
