Thank you Graham Milne for sharing your information of the Bulkeley Chedle/Beaumaris line.

William Bulkeley, the father of the above William, was brother to Sir Richard Bulkeley (included in your pedigree list) and also brother to Roland Bulkeley Baron Exchequer Carnarvon.

I would appreciate it if you would kindly advise your source of information in connection with the list of children of the second Richard (alive 1350) named Edward, Roger, Agnes, and Maud.

There appears to be some confusion in your listregarding the names of a number of wives. If you refer to Ormerod V3 P627, the data therein may assist you.

Sincerely Yours,

Paul Bulkley

I don't think you have quite worked out how the pedigree
(http://www.peerage.org/genealogy/AncestorChartReport.htm) is displayed
(this is described at the top of the pedigree). The 'children' of the second
Richard are not as you describe. Agnes (line 3094) is the mother of the
second Richard (3091) by the first Richard (3089). Roger Cheadle (3093) is
the father of Agnes by his wife Maud (3095). Edward de Cheadle (3092) is the
father of Roger. I hope this helps.

My sources are two photocopied extracts but I have lost the index which
describes which books they came from. They will be two of the following I
think:

Byegones relating to Wales and the Border Countries
Ormerod's Miscellanea Palatina
Calendars of Salusbury Correspondence
Denbighshire Pedigrees by Lewis Dwnn
History of the Gwydir Family by Sir John Wynn
History of Powys Fadog
A Genealogical History of the House of Yvery (in The Society of Genealogists
in London)
Ancient & Modern Denbigh by John Williams
Pedigrees of Anglesey and Caernarvonshire Families by J. E. Griffiths
Morganiae Archaiographia
Old and Extinct Familes of Glamorgan
