Catherine, daughter of Peter Bedingfield, Esq

Margaret, daughter and heiress of Sir Robert Gaston, knight (during Edward 111)

Isabel, daughter of Sir John Herringham, Knight. d.1440

Eva, daughter of John Clipsby, Esq.

Catherine, daughter of Osbert Munford of Hockwold.

first...a daughter of Richard Southwell, Esq. 2nd daughter of John Wentworth of
Suffolk (no first names)

Margaret, daughter of William Reade of Beccles in Suffolk 2nd. daughter of
Richard Joyner..relict of paul Syndor of Kent. he died in 1557

Daughter of Roger Appleton of Comb, in Essex. 2nd Agnes daughter of Walter
Clarke of Hadley (during the reign of William and Mary)

The list goes on but the children of those women are all that are relevant.

Sure hope that someone else is looking at these names in this time frame.

Hi Richard,

I have speculated, but have no documentation yet, that Joan Witchingham married John de Berney (another old Norfolk line) and had a son by that name b. ca 1295. He in turn had a daughter named Alice de Berney who married into the Holdich line. i may also have the Mundeford line from Hockwold in my tree but have to verify...

I know the OP is from 1997, but if you are still looking Richard Barney then I am very interested in what you have found.
