(2) believe he was born in 1829 but we've seen all three birthdays
on various paperwork; both marriages took place in/near Fort
Bragg/Anderson Valley, Mendocino Co, Calif
(3) moved to/near Olds, Alberta, Canada; following the divorce;
remarried a Mr. LAW; died ca 1905-1910
(4) homesteaded in SW Oregon, near Klamath Falls region; later lived
Santa Barbara, Calif, until death (1930s?)

(7) traveled from East Fishkill, Dutchess Co, NY, by wagon train via
Ohio to Cheyenne, WY (a tent city); married a young woman he met
on the wagon train, theirs was the first marriage in Cheyenne;
(8) first white child born in tent city of Cheyenne, went on to be
sherrif, he hanged outlaw Tom Horn

Attempting to trace Harrison SMALLEY's parents and back. Harrison and
Millie SMALLEY do not show on 1860 census. Also not on 1860 census
are their children William, Harriet, Janet, John. In 1862 Benjamin
(16), Julia (27; surname MORRIS), James (19) and Cornelia (7 - Julia's
daughter?) were living with a 50-yr-old Permelia SMALLEY.

What happened to Harrison and Millie SMALLEY and the other children?

When did the family emigrate from Ireland?
