Sir Henry Conway, living 1271, is said to have acquired estates in
Flintshire by marrying "Ancreta, dau. and sole heir of Sir Hari
Crevecoeur, Knight, Lord of Prestatyn in Flintshire, by Ellen,
dau. of John Surtees." Another source calls Henry Conway's wife
the heiress of Sir Hugh Crevecoeur, lord of Prestatyn, a
descendant of the Crevecouers of Chatham, Leeds Castle, etc., Co.
Kent.
Does any one have any information on these Flintshire Crevecouers
or know how they were descended from the Kentish family?
