Dear Newsgroup ~
Complete Peerage 11 (1949): 333–335 (sub Saint John) has a good
account of Sir Oliver Saint John (died 1582), 1st Lord Saint John of
Bletsoe. Regarding his marriage to his first wife, Agnes Fisher, the
following information is provided:
"He married, 1stly, before 8 Feb. 1542/3, Agnes (then aged 22),
daughter and heiress of Sir John Fisher, son and heir apparent
(d.v.p.) of Sir Michael Fisher (died 1549), of Clifton, etc.,
Bedfordshire, by Margaret, daughter and coheiress of Sir Henry
Frowicke." END OF QUOTE.
No death date is provided for Agnes Fisher, but the marriage must have
last a while, as this couple had four sons, John [2nd Lord Saint
John], Oliver [3rd Lord Saint John], Thomas, Esq., and Francis, and
six daughters, Martha (wife of John Cheney, Esq. and James Colbrond),
Judith (wife of John Pelham, Knt.), Margaret (wife of Nicholas Luke,
Esq.), Anne (wife of Robert Corbet, Esq., and Rowland Lytton, Knt.),
Margery, and Agnes.
Bedfordshire Notes & Queries 2 (1889): 193 indicates that Oliver, Lord
St. John of Bletsoe, & Dame Agnes his wife presented to the church of
Bolnhurst, Bedfordshire in 1565 (no month or day given).

As such, it would appear that Agnes Fisher, 1st wife of Sir Oliver
Saint John, was living as late as 1565.
