Was Eustace de Balliol, 3rd Baron of Bywell b. ca. 1155 d. 1200-1211 married twice?
To Petronella Fitzpiers, widow of Robert? What was her maiden name?
To Agnes de Percy?
Were there children by both marriages?
If so, who were they & what were their birthdates?
Thank you.

On Pernel/Petronilla, Complete Peerage vol. 5, in a chart pedigree in the
Essex article, shows that Petronelle, widow of Robert fitz Piers (1st son of
Piers de Lutegareshgale), who d. s.p. 1185 or 1186, was living 17 October
1198, and remarried to Eustace de Baillol, of Barnard Castle, who was dead
in 1211.

Keats-Rohan, Domesday Descendants, p. 300, says that Eustace died 1200, and
refers to Sanders, English Baronies, p. 25 for his family.

Eustace's first wife was named Ada, and on chronological grounds she
appears to have been the mother of his known sons. There may be better
evidence for this in EYC, as well as for her family origin - I don't
recall any suggestion that she was a Percy.
