I have an Anne Nevill who was born around 1500 to Thomas Nevill and
Alice ? . She was associated with Sir John St. John and had Cresset
St. John.
If my information is correct, can anyone tell me about Anne's parents?
Who is this Thomas Nevill?
Thanks,
Jamey McLoughlin

I have Anne Neville (or "Nevell", in the Visitation of Bedfordshire)
daughter of Thos. Nevell of Cotterstock, Northampton, and Alice Wauton.
Thos. is there listed as the son of William Nevell in Holte, Lester.
Gary Boyd Roberts' "Royal Descents of 500 Immigrants" gives Thos. Nevell of
Cotterstock as the son of another Thomas Nevell of Rolleston and Isabell
Griffin, daughter of Nicolas Griffin and Catherine Curzon.
I have no idea how much of either story is correct. Anybody have any clues?
I happen to have a copy of "De Nova Villa: The House of Neville" by
Henry J Swallow, pub 1883 and I can find niether of these Thos Nevilles
therein. though it has no index and I might have missed one or other...

Before you buy.
My quest has been to determine the ancestors of the said William Neville of
Holte, and to derive any relationship between that line and the wider
Neville family froup.
Any thoughts?
