Would appreciate it if a kind person would post the wives of Sir Richard Lovel, 1st Baron Lovel, of Castle Cary, Somerset (c 1276-1351) and if known, the wives parents.

Only one wife.

He married Muriel, daughter and heiress of Sir John de Soules ----
before 1307.

Muriel's mother is Hawise, sister of Sir James FitzAlan, Steward of
Scotland. Muriel died in 1318.

CP gives, VIII, 205-6, but one wife:

Muriel, da. and h. of Sir John de Soules, his first guardian, by
Hawise, sister of Sir James FitzAlan (sic), Steward of Scotland. She
d. in 1318, claiming lands in France.

Nothing in CP XIV.
