Which Poyntz did she marry? William of Reigate, Surrey, m. 23 May 1569?

If she is the Elizabeth who m. William Poyntz, then her ancestry is
given in "The Ancestry of Dorothea Poyntz" by Ronny Bodine and the
late Thomas W Spalding which was obtainable from The Owsley website:
I suspect it is out of print but they may be able to direct you to
second-hand copies.
However if I have identified Elizabeth Newdigate correctly, her mother is
given in this book as Katherine Hampden.
The rest of my comments assume I have identified Elizabeth Newdigate
correctly.

I think the birth dates are guesses.

Katherine Hampden was the daughter of Sir John Hampden and Elizabeth
Savage. Elizabeth had a brother Sir john Savage.

No. And the above book doesn't either; the references they give for him
are the Visitation and John Maclean's "Memoir of the Family of Poyntz"
and neither of those have his death either.

I think all these dates are guesses. Never believe web-sites, not even
the one below.
> Can anyone help me with this family??
The Owsley Society are, almost certainly, the people: they have done
some excellent research.
