How is William de Mastac a "relative of the King" ?

In 1233 the king had given him Margaret de Stuteville as wife
(evidently she was a minor and died young).

William was given seizin on the lands of Margaret's father, as one co-
heiress, so he was an adult, and living and the king's relative...

I have no "de Mastac's" in my database. Who was he?
