2 Sir John Pashley b: 1407 d: 8 Jun 1453 ref #:
F110:7
+Elizabeth Wydeville d: 8 Jun 1453
Is this Elizabeth any relation to Richard Wydeville, husband to Jacquetta
Dowager Duchess of Bedford? Richard would have lived at exactly the same time
(assuming Elizabeth was a little younger than Sir John Pashley, her husband, if
Richard Wydeville had been her brother, this would be correct. )

It is entirely news to me that Richard Wydeville has any known relations.
Are his ancestors known at all? I would love to know. (It's the first gap
one comes upon in the ancestry of James I, or Charles II for that matter.)

A few years ago, I wrote the County of Northamptonshire, and they sent me
a fairly scant family tree, as follows:
William de Wydeville married Emma. Their son was
Hugh de Wydeville. He had two sons:
Robert (died 1206) and William. William had four grandsons:
Walter, William, Thomas, and Richard. Walter's son was
John Wydeville. John married Alice, daughter of Henry de Passenham.
Their son was
John Wydeville. His son was
Richard Wydeville (died 1378). Richard married Elizabeth, daughter of
John Lyons and Alice de St. Liz. Elizabeth was born ca. 1324.
Richard and Elizabeth had at least four children: John, Thomas,
Elizabeth and Margaret.
Margaret married William Hawe [I think this could be Hawte, as later
Wydevilles married into the Hawte family].
Thomas married (1st) Elizabeth and had a son, Thomas. He married
(2nd) Alice, and had four more children: Thomas, Catherine, Agnes and
Elizabeth.
John had two sons: Thomas and Richard (1385 - 1442).
Richard (1385 - 1442) married Joan Bodulgate. Their children were:
Richard, Edward, Joan and Elizabeth.
Elizabeth (died 1453) married John Pashley (1407 - 1453) and they had
at least one son (John, 1432 - 1468).
Joan (born 1404) married Sir William Hawte (born 1390) and they had
at least two children: Richard (1348 - 1487, who married Elizabeth
Tyrell) and Elizabeth.
Edward died 1488, and,
Richard (1405 - 1469) married Jacquetta Zu St. Pol (1416 - 1472).
I know it's not much, sorry.
