Notice the mention of Capt. Jeremiah Blackman. I believe I had speculated at one point that Mr. John Gifford's kinsman Capt. William Hargrave of London was somehow a connection of this Capt. Jeremy or Jeremiah Blackman. Due to failures of indexing I can't currently find this posting.
