Hello, all!

Thought someone here may have an idea. In Robert W. Barnes' "British Roots
of Maryland Families", (Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc.), there is mention
of one William Sacherevell (or, "Sacheverell") Esq. of Stanton, Denby,
Derbyshire, whose daughter Dorothy married one Jasper Lowe of Park Hall,
Denby, in or around 1580.

My question is, is there any proof (from Visitations of Derby or Notts, for
example) that this William could be descended of the John Sacherverel of
Morley, derbyshire, who was killed at Bosworth?

Many thanks!

Hello Jon,

You may have received some feedback from Rosie Bevan already (she's
a resident expert on Derbyshire connections), but the following may be
of some help.

Dare I assume, you have a Sewall or Lowe connection? Please email
me if you are researching these lines, as I have a bit that may be
helpful. For that matter, perhaps you have some findings of note as
well?

Hope this answers your question(s), but let me know. Meanwhile,

Good luck, and good hunting.

John *
