Family of Paon Roet/Latin translation?

I'm still puzzling over the family of Payne Roet.
It seemed (and still seems) somewhat remarkable that he could have a
daughter who was an adolescent in 1349 (hence born in the mid-1330s),
and then no more children until the late 1340s/1350.
So, I decided to go back and check the records I have.
The Elizabeth/Isabel Roet who was o was granted the prebend of the
chapter of Sainte
Waudru in Mons was indeed specifically referred to as:
"nobili adolescentule Elizabeth dicte dou Ruet domini Egidii dicti
Paonet de Ruet filie..."
which my non-existent Latin skills reads as:
"the noblewoman adolescent Elizabeth, called of Ruet, the Lord Egidii,
called Paonet de Ruet's,
daughter..."
(DeVillers, Cartulaire des Comtes de Hainaut, p. 321; I am uncertain of
the volume number as I wasn't bright enough to note it down 20 years
ago).
Lindsay Brook has argued that Paon is a "dit" name, almost a nick-name
or alias of sorts, and that Payne's
real name was Gilles and that he was a son of the last Lord of Roeulx
who died in 1308.
A little bit of internet sleuthing turns up that the English version of
the name "Egidii" does indeed seem to be Giles... which would seem to
confirm Mr. Brook's hunch.
Have I got the Latin translation utterly wrong?
