Good day all. I have an ancestry for one Daniel Conner. He apparently
comes from a long line of the O'Connors. Could anyone shed further light on
this lineage please. If you have anything to add, that would be marvelous
(particularly in identifying/lineage of the wives). If you have great big
holes to tear in it, that would not be marvelous, but it would be extremely
helpful.

Daniel CONNER of Bandonbridge. Died Feb 1761 ®23. Of Bandon, co. Cork,
merchant. Purchased estates principally situate in co. Cork. His name
appears in the Jacobite Corporation of Bandon in 1690. ®23 He married
Margaret SLOANE, 1698 ®23

Cornelius CONNER. Died 1719. Settled near Bandon Co. Cork. The first of the
family who settled in co. Cork. His name appears in the Jacobite
Corporation of Bandon in 1690. His Will bears the date 1 Sept. 1719. ®23
He married Mrs Joane SPLANE (SPILLANE), 1670.

Notes: One of Feargus Mór and Maedhbh's sons was Ciar, the progenitor of
the Ciarruighe (Kerry) Luaghra, Ciarruighe Aoi, and Ciarruighe Coinmean.
Possibly born at Rath Croghan in what was to become the O'Conors of Connaght
territory, he lived in the second century BC. Thirty eight generations
later lived this Conchobar.
