Martha Chaplin wife of Robertt Parke: Gateway ancestor

I posted on her a few years ago but I though I would do another post as
I getting irritated about it again.
At some point a Parke researcher got confused and made Martha Chaplin's
brother Robert into her father. In fact Martha was the daughter of
William Chaplin of Semer and she married her first cousin Robert Parke
who was the son of her aunt Alice Chaplin. They both travelled to
America with the Winthrop fleet.
When ever I find the error I send a friendly email to the source but I
hardly ever get a reply. Most people just don't seem to be interested in
getting it right, meanwhile the error propagates around the Internet
like a genealogical virus.
Another confusing factor is that there were three Martha Chaplins of
similar age in the area and all related.
The key source for Martha Chaplin is: Suffolk Manorial Families Vol III
by Joseph Muskett.
An abbreviated genealogy is shown below, the formatting hasn't worked
very well because of the short line length.

Someone, in email, has suggested I give more references to Martha
Chaplin. Firstly the information can be found in Muskett, but Martha's
baptism can also be found in the Semer parish register and her parents
are given as William and Agnes. Her marriage to Robert Parke can also be
found in the Semer register.
There is a strong indication that Martha, daughter of William was indeed
the Martha who married Robert Parke because Anne Chaplin, Martha's step
mother mentions the Parke family in her will thus:
"To Anne Parke the daughter of Robert Parke 50s at 21 or marriage & if
she do not survive then to my godson William Parke, brother to Anne."

Robert and Martha did indeed have a daughter Anne and a son William.
The marriage of Martha's brother Robert (b 1602) to Elizabeth Astye can
be found in the parish registers of St Mary's Bury St Edmunds 14 May
1627. Martha (b 1584) married Robert Parke in 1602, clearly Robert and
Elizabeth cannot possibly be Martha's parents.
