My question relates to who is Isabel Willington's father?

Isabel Willington married William Beaumont of Shirwell.

The Visitations of Cornwall, p. 18 has her as daughter of Henry Willington and Isabell (Wallesbreu).

The Visitations of Devon, p. 46 has her as daughter of Henry Willington and Isabell (Wallesbreu).

Douglas Richardson Magna Carta p. 239 has her as daughter of Henry Willington and Isabell (Wallesbreu).

In a previous post by Joe Cochoit on 7 Jun 2010, Henry died 23 May 1349 (1,2). She died 20 March 1363 (3,4)

A genealogical and heraldic history of the commoners of Great Britian, Volume 4 p. 527 states:

"Sir John Willington, knt, of Umberleigh, heir to his grand-uncle Sir Reginald Willington. He m. Matilda, dau. of Sir Walter Carminow, and had issue,

Ralph, died *. p. 10th August, 1382.
John, of Willington Court, Gloucestershire, and Umberleigh, in Devon, d.s.p. 1397.
Isabel, co-heir, aged 25, 5 Henry IV. m. to William Beaumont, son of Sir John Beaumont of Shirwell, Devon.
Margaret, co-heir, m. to John Wrothe, son of Sir John Wrothe."

If Burkes Commoners is correct on Isabel's birthdate "aged 25, 5 Henry IV" (1379 - if my math is correct) then it is clearly impossible for her to be Henry and Isabels daughter.

Report and transactions - The Devonshire Association, Volume 38 (5) states:

"The Beaumont portion of Lyn descended to Sir William Beaumont (son of John Beaumont, owner in 1380), who married Isabel, daughter of Sir John Willington, and left a son, Sir Thomas Beaumont, born 1401, who inherited Lyn on the death of his father in 1416. This Sir Thomas Beaumont by his first marriage with Philippa, daughter of Sir J. Dinham, left two sons, William and Philip, who in turn succeeded to Lyn, and a daughter Joan, married to John Bassett. By a subsequent marriage with Alice, daughter of Hugh Stucley, of Affeton, Sir Thomas Beaumont had three sons—Thomas, Hugh, and John, afterwards a clerk in Holy Orders."

Is she the daughter of John Willington and Matilda Carminow, da. of Sir Walter Carminow?

In answer to your question, Isabel Wilington (died 1424), wife of
William Beaumont, was the daughter of Sir John de Wilington, Knt (died
1378), by Maud, daughter of Walter Carminow, Knt. I've copied below
my current file account of Isabel's father, Sir John de Wilington,
Knt. I've cited all of my sources.

Isabel Wilington's ancestry back to King William the Conqueror will be
featured in my next book, Royal Ancestry, scheduled for publication
later this year.

Best always, Douglas Richardson, Salt Lake City, Utah

+ + + + + + + + + + + + +

JOHN DE WILINGTON, Knt., of Stalpits (in Shrivenham), Berkshire,
Ablington (in Bibury) and Westonbirt, Gloucestershire, Calstone
Wellington, Wiltshire, etc., born c. 1340–42 (aged 7 in 1349, aged 15
in 1355). He married MAUD CARMINOW, daughter of Walter Carminow,
Knt., by Alice, daughter of Stephen Tynten, Knt. They had two sons,
Ralph and John, and two daughters, Isabel and Margaret (wife of John
Wroth, Knt.). He was heir in 1355 to his great-uncle, Reynold de
Wilington, clerk. He presented to the church of Atherington, Devon in
1375. SIR JOHN DE WILINGTON died 19 Aug. 1378. His widow, Maud, died
22 Aug. 1382.

FWIW here's another account of the Willington family - see pages

I would hope it strikes you as pertinent to query why she was "aged 25 5H4" and not some other regnal year.
If you poke you can find the reason why.

So are you assuming that she must have been born by 30 Sep ? or After 30 Sep ?
