I am interested in the migration of jews to Latin America. I had
relatives who in the 1920s could not enter the United States, so settled
in Argentina. But at this point, I am very interested in the stories of
Jews who settled in Colombia--orgin, how communities have maintained
traditions, treatment by other Colombians, political activity,
social and cultural involvement, migration out of Colombia, etc. Also, I
am interested in hearing about historical research regarding conversos
who allegedly settled Antioquia. If you know about Colombia, you know
about Antioquia. This is just a area of curiosity, largely arising from
my experience leaving in Colombia, though I had no contact with Colombian
Jews at the time.
Thought I would float this out there in cyberspace to see what happens.
